The Cardiology Patients' Forum
needs your help....
This active, independent Discussion Forum
receives no grants or corporate underwriting.
Angioplasty.Org
has posted almost 3,000 comments from individuals who have
discovered that
we are the only place on
the net where patients can freely share their experience and
questions about interventional cardiology treatment.
The Forum
is moderated by a volunteer staff that reviews posts and
responds to users on a daily basis, in an effort to keep the
discussion
accurate and timely. |

We've Been Around for a Decade
Angioplasty.Org was started in 1997, the 20th anniversary of coronary angioplasty,
and was one of the first healthcare sites on the World Wide Web. Unlike the
giant WebMDs of the internet, Angioplasty.Org has stayed small, focussed
and non-commercial. Created and managed by one of the early pioneers of medical
education for interventional cardiologists, Angioplasty.Org promotes the
benefits of these minimally-invasive alternatives to open surgery, yet also
does not shy away from publicizing potential problems with devices and therapies.
