It has been said
by many that a large part of the success of interventional cardiology
was due to the climate of collaboration and free exchange
of ideas and information that existed in its beginnings. In that
spirit, we urge you to contribute to this site, by adding information
that
can be helpful to others.
There are several ways
that you can do this quickly and easily:
If you know of a meeting,
conference or other event of interest to the interventional medical
community, and it is not in our listing
of meetings, you can add the information here.
This feature is now
online. "Forum" is a series of moderated newsgroups, consisting
of letters to the editor, conversations between people on user-defined
topics, and questions posted.
Before there were
clinical trials, there was "the registry", a voluntary information
bank where data on all PTCA cases worldwide was submitted, successful
and unsuccessful alike. What was at stake was not a specific stent,
a particular atherectomy device, or a new balloon, but the future
of interventional procedures itself! Our "registry" is not quite
so earth-shaking, but we hope that you will take a minute and
register by giving us a few pertinent facts about yourself, and
sending your comments and suggestions about our site.
