Q&A with Dr. Jennifer Tremmel of Stanford
Jennifer Tremmel, MD
Jennifer Tremmel, MD
The Stanford School of Medicine blog "SCOPE" is featuring an "Ask the Doctor About Women's Heart Health" article. The doctor is Jennifer Tremmel, MD, Clinical Director of Women's Heart Health at Stanford Clinic, and Dr. Tremmel is no stranger to us here at Angioplasty.Org. You can read our interview with Dr. Tremmel about her experience starting the transradial approach to angioplasty at Stanford (she is also Director of Transradial Intervention there). You can also read our article, featuring Dr. Tremmel among others, about work she is doing using Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR) in decision-making about whether or not to stent. And finally, you can read my recent post, "Myocardial Bridging: Heart Patients and Social Networking," and see how Dr. Tremmel's diagnosis of a woman's heart problem totally turned her life around.

So check out the Stanford "SCOPE" blog. You can submit questions via comment to the article, or you can tweet your question with the hashtag #AskSUMed. But they're only collecting questions until Friday, May 4, so ask today, as they say....
