62 year old male I was dx with a single coronary artery about a year ago...Single RCA with Lad and Lcx both coming off proximal portion of the RCA (opposite sides) Lcx takes a retroaortic course. Diminutive Lad takes a interarterial course..So far arteries are pretty clean (calcium score of 7) ..I got lucky because I was a terrible eater and smoked 2 packs a day...I know this is or was a very rare defect. My question would be is how often is this defect found now a days with new technologies...I do know I will be fine if I take care of myself just wondering if it is becoming more common?
