Medtronic to Announce Financial Results for Its First Fiscal Quarter Webcast Scheduled for 7 a.m. CDT, August 25, 2009

August 14, 2009 -- Minneapolis -- Medtronic, Inc. (NYSE: MDT), announced today it will report financial results for its first fiscal quarter on Tuesday, August 25, 2009. A news release will be issued at approximately 6:15 a.m. Central Time and will be available at www.medtronic.com/newsroom. The earnings news release will include summary financial information for Medtronic’s first quarter ended July 31, 2009.

Medtronic will host a webcast at 7 a.m. Central Time to discuss financial results for its first fiscal quarter. The webcast can be accessed by clicking on the Investor Relations link through the Medtronic Web site at www.medtronic.com.
